Fellowship programs require steps one, two, and three<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three (3) current clinical letters of recommendation (must be dated within a year)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Medical Student Performance Evaluation\/ Dean&#8217;s letter<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A photograph and personal statement explaining your interest in the program you are applying<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferred medical school graduation date within five years of application, with the exception of Physical Medicine &amp; Rehabilitation, which is three years<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/certification-pathways\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.ecfmg.org\/certification-pathways\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><em>ECFMG certificate<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, if an international medical graduate <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2025-2026 Recruitment Season GME Program Metrics: <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/thewrightcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/2025_2026-Program-Metrics-Application-Selection-Requirement-Recommendations-for-Recruitment-.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Selection Guidelines and Recommendations<\/a><\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education accepts applicants who are U.S. citizens, individuals with permanent resident status, and individuals requiring J-1 visas. U.S. Clinical Experience is required. (U.S. Clinical Experience is defined as hands-on experience working with patients conducted in a U.S. medical environment.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:29px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"interview\"><strong><strong>Interview <\/strong><\/strong>Formats and Recruiting Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Please see <a href=\"https:\/\/thewrightcenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Pre-Interview-Memo-1-1.pdf\"><em>this important memo<\/em> <\/a>regarding interviews<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interviews will be conducted virtually for all residency and fellowship programs through Thalamus <strong><em>(<a href=\"https:\/\/thalamusgme.com\/\" style=\"text-decoration: underline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/thalamusgme.com\/<\/a><\/em><\/strong>) or Webex, depending upon the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A typical interview day consists of two (2) interviews, which can take approximately a total of one (1) hour:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Program Director (20-30min): 1:1 Interview<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Panel Interview (20-30min): This will be a format consisting of a representative from our physician faculty, a resident, and the program coordinator.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some programs may conduct more than two interviews or one single panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If selected for an interview, you\u2019ll receive an invitation from Thalamus (if applicable). Most programs will be offering both morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate and respect all time zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you schedule an interview with us, you\u2019ll receive detailed information for your interview sessions, plus a digital program-specific information package to help prepare for interviews and learn more about our program, along with other pertinent information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will be offering virtual, social \u201cMeet &amp; Greet\u201d events for you to meet with our current residents and fellows and learn more about us and our organization. These events are typically scheduled one week prior to the interview day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some programs will be offering optional on-site visits for applicants who have been selected to interview. Your presence or absence from these on-site events will have no bearing on how you are ranked. The purpose of the optional on-site visit is to allow you a better feel for the program and see the physical space of our clinical learning environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information regarding logistics and formatting of interviews and other recruitment activities will be provided by each program at or near the time of the interview invitation.
